• Effective against Legionella pneumophila (Legionnaire’s Disease causing bacteria) in both laboratory and field studies.  Legionella pneumophila issues and applications are complex and require a great deal of site and application specific information for any microbial control agent to be effective.  BioBrom C-103L has been shown to be an effective tool in the control of Legionella pneumophila.
• Safer for use in galvanized, copper and steel systems than chlorine and bromine.
• Can clean up fouled systems where high levels of organics, slime and biomass are present.

• BioBrom C-103L is intended for use in re-circulating cooling systems and cooling towers to control slime-forming bacteria.  For noticeably fouled systems, add 3 – 6 ounces (25 – 50 ppm) BioBrom C-103L per 1000 gallons of system water until control is achieved.  For on-going operation, add 0.2 to 1.0 ounce (2.0 – 10 ppm) per 1000 gallons daily to once per week on an as-needed basis. 
• When noticeable fungi and algae are present, add 27 – 50 ounces (250 – 500 ppm) per 1000 gallons of water in the system, as needed, to achieve control. For ongoing control of fungi and algae add 16 to 50 (150 – 500 ppm) ounces per 1000 gallons daily to once per week on an as-needed basis. 
• BioBrom C-103L is very effective as a continuously fed biocide at 0.4 to 1.2 ounces per 1000 gallons of water. 

Summary of dosage rates:

1.         Bacterial slime - 0.2 – 1.0 ounces per 1000 gallons of water

2.         Fungi and Algae - 16 – 50 ounces per 1000 gallons of water

3.         Continuous feed - 0.4 – 1.2 ounces per 1000 gallons of water
