Is your water safe?
How safe is the water you drink? Do you really know for sure? Cryptosporidium (left), the microorganism responsible for 50 deaths and widespread illness when it contaminated Milwaukee’s drinking water supply in 1993, is almost completely resistant to chlorine. Giardia (right), causes gastrointestinal complications commonly known as beaver-fever, and is also highly resistant to chlorine. Filtration and chlorine is not enough to protect you.

How does UV work?
